DIRECTIONS to the Princeton High School Performing Arts Center: On Nassau Street there is an intersection with stop light between the intersections of Harrison Street with Nassau and Washington Road-Vandeventer Street with Nassau. (Both Harrison and Washington come in from U.S. 1.) It is that midway intersection you want. It doesn’t go quite straight through: one side is Olden and the other is Chestnut Street.
Turn onto Chestnut Street (the Ivy Pavillion Chinese restaurant is on your right and Theo’s Salon on your left.) and go to the stop sign at the bottom of the hill where you cross Hamilton Avenue. At that crossing, the name of the street you are on changes from Chestnut to Walnut Lane.
As you go up the hill, the Westminster Choir College campus is on your right. On your left you pass Hawthorne Street and Houghton Street. Once past Houghton, the big building on your left is Princeton High School. Keep going (now down hill) until you come to the end of the building which is about where Franklin Avenue comes in from the right.
The Performing Arts Center of Princeton Regional Schools is at the end of the Princeton High School Building and the entrance faces the playing fields – that is, the entrance is on the side of the building perpendicular to Walnut Lane, but close to Walnut. Do not try to go to the Performing Arts Center from the Moore Street entrance to Princeton High.
(Thanks to Anne Yasuhara for the directions.)
