On very short notice, we are collaborating with our colleagues at NJ Citizen Action and in the office of US Representative Frank Pallone to hold an Emergency Rally while President Bush is in Freehold, NJ on Friday afternoon, March 28. Rep. Pallone and Rev. Bob Moore will be among the speakers.
We are organizing a rally to tell President Bush that he needs to stop the Iraq War and invest in health care, educations, housing and renewable energy. Please pass the word to others who might be interested.
There will be carpooling from Princeton:

As the Iraq war enters its six year, 4000 Americans have died, tens of thousands of Americans have become permanently disabled, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians have been killed and millions are displaced refugees. Rather than escalating this war and causing more pain and suffering, President Bush needs to bring all the troops home now and start investing in America.
Taxpayers in New Jersey have paid $23.9 billion for the Iraq War thus far. For the same amount of money, the following could have been provided:
- 2,191,601 People with Health Care OR
- 33,408,078 Homes with Renewable Electricity OR
- 2,396,726 Scholarships for University Students OR
- 1,256 New Elementary Schools OR
- 94,873 Affordable Housing Units OR
- 7,819,217 Children with Health Care OR
- 2,727,299 Head Start Places for Children OR
- 339,436 Elementary School Teachers
War in Iraq has destroyed thousands of lives.
Wall Street gets handouts, and our communities get left out
Instead of endless war and tax cuts for the rich, we need investment in health care, education, housing, and renewable energy.
