Coming to your town - the Coalition for Peace Action
Peace Voter Campaign
A major CFPA priority in this Election Year will be organizing a Peace Voter Campaign to have maximum impact for peace on the 2008 Presidential and Congressional Elections.
An educated voter chooses a candidate based on where they stand on peace-related and other key issues. The Coalition works to make this possible by informing voters about candidates' positions, educating candidates themselves, and by showing how voters can influence and impact their government in matters of war and peace.
CFPA Executive Director Robert Moore has begun a regional speaking tour,
“Impacting the 2008 Elections for Peace.” The goal is to inform our chapters and supporters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania on what’s involved in the Peace Voter Campaign, and to solicit active involvement by recruiting volunteers.
Listed below are the places he has already given his talk, along with upcoming venues.
