On Thursday, December 19, CFPA is sponsoring a Lobby Day to Washington, D.C. for a Peace Lobby Day as Congress faces crucial decisions about sanctions on Iran, military spending and other peace-related issues. See details below, and join us if you can!
CFPA is spearheading a Peace Lobby Day on Thursday, December 19 as Congress nears legislation about sanctions on Iran, for reducing military spending and other peace-related issues. Congress may make major decisions late this year or early in the new year on these matters. We plan to leave very early (about 4:30 AM from Princeton area, 5:30 AM from Philly) in order to arrive in time for a breakfast meeting with Sen. Bob Casey. We will have other appointments (still being made at this time) until early to mid-afternoon, at which time we'll leave for the return trip to arrive back by early evening. It's a long, but very worthwhile day!
