On November 10, 2019, the Coalition for Peace Action held our annual Multifaith Service and Conference for Peace, marking the beginning of our 40th year! 

The day was a success, with a combined total of 600 attendees for both the morning Service and afternoon Conference.

Our speakers were: Jim Wallis, the co-founder and president of Sojourners; Jenny Town, co-founder and managing editor for 38 North; Ray Acheson, director of Reaching Critical Will; Dr. Frank von Hippel, a research physicist and Professor Emeritus of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University; Shiho Burke, 2nd-generation Hiroshima bombing survivor; Dr. Zia Mian, co-director of Princeton University's Program on Science and Global Security; and Dr. Alan Robock, a climatologist at Rutgers University.
