We are excited to share with you the details of our annual Multifaith Service and Conference for Peace! This year, both events are taking place on Sunday, November 15, all online. At this time, we only have 75 available spaces left for the Conference! These will go on a first come, first serve basis, so reserve to ensure your space(s) NOW!

The afternoon Conference starts at 1:30 p.m. on Zoom! 

Pre-registration is required. You will not receive the Zoom link unless you register.

Our speakers are Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins and anti-war progressive Maj. Danny Sjursen. Click here for full bios!

Amb. Jenkins is the founder and president of the Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security and Conflict Transformation (WCAPS) nonprofit organization. Previously, she was an ambassador at the U.S. Department of State from 2009-17, where she served as coordinator for threat reduction programs in the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation.

Maj. Sjursen is a former U.S. Army strategist and former history instructor at West Point. He has written a memoir and critical analysis of the Iraq War, Ghostriders of Baghdad: Soldiers, Civilians, and the Myth of the Surge. Sjursen is contributing editor at Antiwar.com. His work has appeared in the LA Times, NY Times, The Nation, HuffPost, The Hill, Salon, BuzzFeed News, Tom Dispatch and Truthdig.com, among other publications.

The morning Multifaith Service, in collaboration with the Princeton University Chapel, will be available to watch, free of charge, starting at 8 a.m. that morning. The link will be available on the Princeton University Chapel web site here. There will be an opportunity for a free-will offering, benefiting the Peace Action Education Fund, our tax-deductible arm. You can contribute before, during, or after viewing the Service by clicking here.

Our preacher this year will be The Rev. Dr. Chloe Breyer, the Executive Director of the Interfaith Center of New York (ICNY). Click here for her full bio. Faith leaders from a wide range of traditions will participate in the remainder of the Service.

The Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) is a grassroots citizens' organization bringing together people of all ages, backgrounds, professions and political persuasions around three goals: global abolition of nuclear weapons, a peace economy and a halt to weapons trafficking at home and abroad.
