Take One Minute to Email your Senators to Help Prevent a New Nuclear Arms Race!
The proposed $1 trillion US nuclear modernization program could trigger a new nuclear arms race. That's why CFPA's November 13 Conference and Multifaith Service for Peace was on Preventing a New Nuclear Arms Race.
Following up on that successful event with over 400 participants, CFPA organized a Lobby Day to Washington D.C. on December 6. See our Recent Events page for pictures and more information on our Conference and Lobby Day (third and fourth events down).
Now I urge you to take a very significant one minute action to support our "ask" to all four Senators from NJ and PA, which will greatly strenghten our reqeust that they co-sponsor the resolution being introduced by Sen. Al Franken.
This is part of CFPA's long time philosophy, Think Globally, Act Locally. None of the US Senators from NJ or PA are among the 10 co-sponsors of the Franken Resolution yet. So click here to email your two US Senators!
Click here to see another new CFPA fact sheet advocating alternatives to the $1 trillion US nuclear build-up, which we will be presenting to each Senate office.
